- Gather at the Cannoning headquarters in La Fortuna where the team will warmly welcome you.
- Receive a brief introduction about the adventure, safety protocols, and equipment distribution (helmet, harness, etc.).

Traditional Costa Rican Lunch
Enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch served at the headquarters.
Savor local flavors with options available for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets to fuel up before the adventure.

Safety Briefing & Final Preparation
- Bilingual guides provide a detailed safety briefing, covering rappel techniques and the use of all equipment (helmet, harness, etc.).
- Final Q&A and equipment adjustments are made to ensure everyone feels confident and safe.
- Duration: Approximately 10 min.
1:00 PM :
Transfer to the Canyon
- Depart for the tropical jungle canyon via a short transfer.
- Begin a scenic hike along well-maintained trails, with opportunities to spot toucans, sloths, monkeys, and other exotic wildlife.
- Duration: Approximately 20 min.

Cannoning Tour
The canyoning adventure features three main rappels: it starts with the first descent at a waterfall, continues with a second rappel to reinforce techniques, includes an exciting “Monkey Drop” paired with a rappel on a rock wall, and concludes with a final descent at a third waterfall—all designed to provide an adrenaline rush amid stunning natural scenery.
Duration: Approximately 2 Hours.

Return to base
Tourists will be transported back to reception.

What to Bring
- Quick-dry clothing.
- Secure footwear (running shoes, hiking boots, adventure sandals, etc.).
- A change of clothes for after the tour (you’ll get wet!).

Restrictions
- Recommended for participants aged 5 and up.
- Guests should be in moderate physical condition; special lowering techniques are available for children, older adults, or those with physical challenges.
- Participants must wear secure, waterproof footwear (e.g., hiking boots, adventure sandals, water shoes).
- Quick-drying clothing is recommended, and a change of clothes should be brought since you will get wet.
- Optional: Bring a Go-Pro if you want to capture your own footage.
- Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan meal options are available, but please notify the team in advance.
- Be prepared to get wet, especially during the “Monkey Drop” and waterfall rappelling portions of the tour.
